“All Aboard” The Winterval Express Train!


Hop on board the magical "Winterval Express", a road train that takes you on an enthralling half hour journey through the historic streets of Waterford.  Chug past the Winterval attractions; the Giant Postbox and Carousel, the Giant Christmas Tree, The Bishop's Palace, Theatre Royal, Santa’s Grotto, Reginald’s Tower, Winterval Christmas Market, the Animal Farm, Viking Yule and the Polish Christmas Village.

Join the train at either of the two Sleigh Stations, one on The Mall in front of the Bishop's Palace, the other on Barronstrand Street.

From John Roberts Square to the Mall the "Winterval Express" will take you through a very merry Christmas landscape.

There are 2 ways to Travel on the “Winterval Express” Road Train:

1. A limited number of Priority Pre-Booked tickets for one single-circuit journey of the Winterval Trail are available, so advance booking is recommended!

Or…

2. Arrive on the day to either of our 2 Sleigh Stations and purchase your full-circuit or 2 hop-on/hop-off ½ circuit trips. Tickets and return journeys are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability & space on that day.
